'Pound-for-pound' the best boxing club around...

Banbury Boxing Club was founded in September 2012 by brothers Ben and Tom Malcher, Mark Cooper and Dave Green. The club is proudly affiliated with England Boxing and is a club for competitive and recreational boxers.

We are a ‘not for profit’ charitable club run by volunteers and supported by donations, grants and member subscriptions. The main aim of Banbury Boxing Club is to offer affordable boxing classes in a safe environment for competitive boxers to train and compete in the sport of amateur boxing who might one day represent the Home Counties, England or even Team GB!

In 2014 we achieved Sport England ClubMark Standard.

Banbury Boxing Club has been producing a steady flow of competitive boxers since 2012 – some have progressed to become Home Counties and National Champions!  In 2013 we registered the first two female boxers from Banbury to ever compete in an ABA/England Boxing sanctioned contest!
